Job Description

Position Summary: The position includes the oversight of the entire closing process and performance for each of the clients under the direct Supervision of the Director of Operations Essential Duties: Late Night Manager, Closings Hours: 11:30-8 or 12:00-9pm - Monitor daily volume, and allocate files as necessary - Manage escalations, as needed - Review daily WIPS to ensure all past due/upcoming tasks are complete - Review daily WIPS to ensure all closing documents are sent to the Signing Agent/Customer prior to the closing date/time - Review daily disbursement report to ensure all files are disbursed on time - Review recording WIPS on a monthly basis to ensure all recording rejects are resolved in a timely manner - Monitor and manage Client scorecard to ensure we are in a performing status for all Closing related SLA’s - Create and implement training materials specific to the Closing process - Monitor employee performance to ensure accuracy when completing the Closing - Motivate staff to achieve goals that are set forth - Create a positive working environment that allows the team to grow as a team, as well as an individual - Direct involvement with coaching staff and streamlining processes to achieve accurate best practices while remaining compliant with all regulations

    Skills and Expertise

      -Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word -3+ years’ Closing experience required -Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness - 3+ years management experience Decision Making: -On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area. Authority: -May oversee or coordinate the work of others Communication: -Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills. Education: -Required: High School Diploma or GED -Preferred: Two years college or equivalent work experience Experience: -Three years of related experience required. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience. Certification: No Requirements Physical Requirements: -Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time. -Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction -Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hand(s), for example, using a keyboard.
