Job Description

- Receive file with recorded documents - Enter Recording information into operating system - Review/Mark up file in title system -Review Tax Management Screen to ensure all taxes are paid current -Review vesting on deed tab and compare with recorded documents -Review mortgage tab to ensure all liens were addressed -Review lien tab to ensure all liens were addressed -Review requirements/exceptions and remove as appropriate Other Duties: - Inform client of issues related to the issuance of the policy - Provide timely responses to requests for recorded documents/policies - Request/Monitor policy from Field Agent’s - Process incoming mail (scan and upload into operating system) - File mail in assigned underwriter’s cabinet - Monitor policy inbox -Confirm Loan amounts, endorsements and fees by reviewing Lender’s instructions -Verify correct title fees were collected -If no, document the correct amount, versus the incorrect amount -Deliver a monthly report to the Director of operations that outlines the files with incorrect fees -Generate Policy number with underwriter -Print forms -Sign and scan forms -Save policy to operating system -Complete underwriter spreadsheet, if applicable -Send recorded documents to client, and deed to Buyer -Send Lender’s policy to lender, and Owner’s policy to the Owner of Record. -Complete events and notes in Magellan

      Skills & Abilities: -Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word. -1+ years’ policy issuance experience required -Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. - Time management a plus - Strong organizational skills Decision Making: -On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area. Authority: -May oversee or coordinate the work of others. Communication: -Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills. Education: -Required: High School Diploma or GED -Preferred: Two years college or equivalent work experience Experience: -One year of related experience required. -Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience.
