Job Description

Essential Duties: - Ensure title requirements have been met for the issuance of the policy, to include obtaining payoffs, verifying marital status etc - Identify/obtain all payoffs that are required for the closing. - Confirm Closing dates/location with the customer - Prepare the Alta Settlement Statement / Closing Disclosure - Secure lender, seller and/or broker approval of loan closing documents - Prepare/coordinate the preparation of conveyance documents, if applicable - Prepare the file for disbursement - Resolve any rejects related to recordable documents - Partner with the disbursement team to ensure timely, and accurate disbursement of funds - Follow-up on any outstanding checks/trial balance issues - Prepare file for final policy issuance - Communicate with the Seller/Buyer/Real Estate Agents/ Auction companies to ensure all parties are updated with the most recent status - document the notepad throughout the process - Complete events related to the closing process within the operating system - Review daily reports to ensure completion of assigned duties Other Responsibilities: - Assist Manager, as requested - Manage to assigned daily metric provided by the Manager - Focus on quality, and reduce errors to less than 5% of work produced - Arrive at work on or before your scheduled start time


    Skills and Expertise

      - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word - 1-5 years experience with real estate titles, deed preparation and closings - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. - Time management a plus - Strong organizational skills Decision Making: -On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area. Authority: -N/A Communication: -Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills. Education: -Required: High School Diploma or GED -Preferred: One years college or equivalent work experience Experience: -One year of related experience required. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience.
