Job Description

Disbursement Support Specialist - Partner with assigned closer to prepare file for funding - Engage contact with attorney and field agents as needed, to fund loans accurately per assigned payee / partner - If property taxes are being paid, review the tax cert for accuracy on due dates and amounts - Place tax funds on hold until due, if not yet due - Place recording fees on hold - Prepare the file for disbursement - Provide quality customer service with our internal team members, as well as our clients - During slower parts of the month, will assist closers with zero balance ledgers and miscellaneous items needed to support the client’s/lender’s additional post closing requests Other Responsibilities: - Assist Manager, as requested - Manage to assigned daily metric provided by the Manager - Focus on quality, and reduce errors to less than 5% of work produced - Arrive at work on or before your scheduled start time

    Skills and Expertise

      Skills & Abilities: - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word - 1-5 years experience with real estate titles, deed preparation and closings - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. - Time management a plus - Strong organizational skills Decision Making: -On a regular and continuous basis, exercises ---administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area Authority: -N/A Communication: -Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills Education: -Required: High School Diploma or GED -Preferred: One years college or equivalent work experience Experience: -One year of related experience required. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience.
